#1 Standard Poodle

The Poodle is a breed of water dog that likely originated in Germany. Standard Poodles shed very lightly.

Poodle expert Gail Wolaniuk explained:

“The great thing, of course, about the Poodle is the fact that they do not shed.”

#2 Portuguese Water Dog

The Portuguese Water Dog originated from the Algarve region of Portugal. I like that PWDs have a single-layered coat that does not shed. Important note – if left untended, the hair on a Portuguese Water Dog will keep growing indefinitely.
