The American Kennel Club says that no dog is 100% hypoallergenic. Some dogs are marketed as “hypoallergenic” because they shed less fur.

Dog breeds considered hypoallergenic have non-shedding coats that reduce the amount of dander (dead skin cells) released into the environment. Here are some of the best hypoallergenic dogs.
